Pucón

Pucón, located on the shores of Lake Villarrica and at the base of the volcano of the same name, is one of the most popular tourist destinations in southern Chile. It offers a unique blend of adventure, nature, and relaxation, with hot springs, ski resorts, rafting, hiking, and local cuisine.
Its natural surroundings include national parks, araucaria forests, rivers, and lakes, ideal for outdoor activities year-round. In summer it stands out for its lake beaches, and in winter for the volcano’s ski center. Pucón is also a cultural hub with a strong Mapuche presence.
