The Lluta Valley
The Lluta Valley stretches along the Lluta River in Chile’s Arica and Parinacota region. Known for its agricultural importance, it is renowned for crops such as olives, corn, and alfalfa, as well as for producing the famous “Azapa olive.” Throughout the valley, visitors can also find archaeological remains of pre-Hispanic cultures, including geoglyphs and petroglyphs that reflect the area’s rich history. It is a destination that blends green landscapes in the middle of the desert with agricultural tradition and cultural heritage.
