The Puchuldiza Geysers

The Puchuldiza Geysers are located over 4,000 meters above sea level in the highlands of Chile’s Tarapacá region. This geothermal field features fumaroles and steam columns that naturally rise from the underground, creating a unique spectacle amid the Andes. In winter, the steam freezes into striking ice towers that captivate visitors. The site is both a natural and scientific attraction, showcasing the region’s intense volcanic activity.
