The Marble Chapels

The Marble Chapels

The Marble Chapels, located on the shore of General Carrera Lake in Chile’s Aysén Region, are unique rock formations sculpted by water and wind on calcium carbonate stone. They stand out for their colors ranging from white to blue and pink, featuring caves and natural arches that create a spectacular and delicate landscape. Access is only by boat from Puerto Río Tranquilo, adding a special charm to the visit. They are a Chilean Patagonia icon and a must-see for nature lovers and photographers.
